I rarely write about fashion mostly because I don't have a sense of style. My fashion is very basic. I really should invest in a personal shopper for myself. Maybe one day when Gary is a General Manager. haha One designer that I absolutely love is Lilly Pulitzer. I found that this morning that she has passed away. She was an icon in the fashion world. I realized that some people love Lilly while other don't like her. I don't have any of her clothes mostly because they are too expensive for our budget. I mostly love her take on sorority prints.
In case you don't know who Lilly is she was started her business because she was making smoothies and the fruit juices were getting all over her. She thought there has to be something I can wear (and still be cute) while working. She made polos and clothes that match the colors of the fruit.
She really did pioneer her patterns! RIP.
